Great write-up. had no idea there where solutions that linked your phone number or, created a DID to verify addresses. I think linking it to a discord account and checking the amount of tx on an address might be the way to go.

Sybil resistance is always a tough topic, KYC might scare people off that enjoy and care about crypto for anonymity reasons while other options often result in an easier way for ‘exploiters’

And if you decide on a specific thing before the DAO launch you could get shit for not being decentralized or something, no matter what this seems like a lose lose situation

I think this is bad for determining real users of the Gyro testnet. I’m certain I’m not the only person that uses a testnet-only wallet that’s not associated with my mainnet activity. It allows me to share issues on forums without worrying about it somehow compromising my identity or crypto holdings.
